About Tony Tynan

Education and achievements:  

• Diploma in Mineral Science with Geophysics
• First Class Honours degree in Physics and Mathematics
• I obtained a high achievement award from The Open University for the highest mathematics result in Ireland in 1999

Teaching Experience:

For the last ten years I have given maths grinds on a regular weekly basis to many students in preparation for both Leaving Cert and Junior Cert. This has been very successful with many siblings and friends of former students coming for grinds on the recommendation of former students. In many instances I have given grinds to three members of the same family.  I have worked with a number of students all the way from 1st year to 6th year.  I am very familiar with what’s required for both the Junior Cert and the Leaving Cert.
